Bill Seaman, 'Passage Sets'

A sensuous and subtle work in which word and image fragments slide over each other under the smooth control of the viewer, with the assured hand of the artist ensuring that meaning is created rather than chaos. A triptych of video projection features a 'poem generator' where the viewer can slide through an intersecting matrix of words, creating a spoken poem which is accompanied by atmospheric visuals.

British premiere.

Seaman is an Australian artist, whose work has been shown at: ICC, Tokyo; Long Beach Museum, California; Frankfurt Art Institute, Germany and the ICA, Boston. He has received awards from Siemens, National Endowment for the Arts, Australian Research Council, and Cannon Europa Prize.
